Snowfall

Oh yes, it is snowing and it is icy and oh yes, it’s cold too. So icy in fact that on Monday this week so many people slipped on the ice, that all the Berlin ambulances were in use and they had to resort to using the fire brigade to ferry people to the hospital.

Unfortunately one of my friends also slipped on the ice whilst riding her bike and fractured a vertebrae. Obviously this required pretty much immediate surgery. I really feel for her, I mean, since all of the back problems I’ve had, I know how much pain something like that can create. She is now recovering in hospital, the OP went well, so here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

On another note, what do I care that it is freaking freezing – that’s what I was thinking whilst waiting for the S-Bahn at 6.30am this morning. Why would I think that? Easy. I will be in Australia for pretty much the month of February. So although I’m not really looking forward to March – at least I am going to get some sun and heat ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways, no energy to really write anything more. I am so, so tired. It has been a very hard week and I am feeling like it sounds – weak!

This was my track for the week though, so enjoy…

Happy New Year!!

Another year down and deeper in debt….well, this time around not really deeper in debt actually. Will possibly be able to manage that this year if we end up buying an apartment in Berlin or not….who knows!? Seems like a good idea right about now, but then again, it is only the second day of the year. Plenty of time to become discouraged as the time passes on by.

To summarize 2013 – good. Not amazing, but things seemed to have gone rather well in all areas of my life, so I guess I can’t complain really. Well, I think my German is getting worse lately instead of better, which is rather worrying. Oh well. But hey, let’s hope for even better things in 2014….

So big love to all out there in the world, and see you on the flipside!!
